Naatha (Hellfire, Book 5) - Ella Moore

A fantastic, spicy series about betrayal, love and the forging of bonds. I loved every minute of it.

This is the fifth and final book in this amazing paranormal romance series. I have really enjoyed this and I am a little sad that it has come to an end. And what an unexpected ending it was.

This whole series has been a joy to read; the story arcs, the character development, the twist and turns. They were so well done. I love the author’s style of writing. It was rich and I could see what she was painting in my mind.

I fell in love with these characters. They are complex and carry their share of baggage. There are ongoing themes of damaged beings who find love and acceptance where they expect there to be none.

The series takes place across several centuries, beginning in a time before hell was separate from Earth and before humans dominated the planet. A time after Lucifer had fallen but was still fighting his way to dominion over all demons. We see some immortal beings face a true death and new immortals come into being, whose existence will bring change to the world.

The stories in this series contain violent and brutal elements, as you would expect in a land filled with demonic tribes and vengeful angels. They are filled with action, politics, scheming, war, rescue, love and the forging of family bonds. I absolutely love it. It’s a paranormal romance with little to no human element. Throughout the series there are many descriptive scenes of a sexual nature featuring male and female, male and male, and female and female couples.

Ella Moore is firmly one of my favourite authors, and I cannot wait to see what she comes up with in the future.

This series is fantastic. Buy it. You won’t regret it.

Rogue (Hellfire Series, Book 4) - Ella Moore

This is one of my favourite series

I really enjoyed reading this book. I actually love this series; I haven’t read anything else like it and it’s definitely one of my favourites.

This is the fourth book in the paranormal romance series. It could be read as a standalone but in my opinion, it really is better to read it as part of the series. There is an underlying story arc and you need to read them in order to appreciate it.

The story is set on a version of Earth where humans and demons both live in their own tribes on the same plane of existence during a time after Lucifer had fallen but was still fighting his way to dominion over all demonkind. This book contains detailed scenes of a sexual nature between two consenting female beings.

The world building in these books is superb. Ella Moore’s writing is an absolute joy to read. All the characters in this series are complex and carry their share of baggage. There are ongoing themes of damaged beings who find love and acceptance where they expect there to be none.

This book really starts to pull together the underlying story arc which began quietly in book one; things which seemed to be incidental in previous books are now revealed to have a much greater importance.

The stories in this series contain violent and brutal elements, as you would expect in a land filled with demonic tribes and vengeful angels. They are filled with action, politics, scheming, war, rescue, love and the forging of family bonds. I absolutely love it. Ella Moore is fast becoming one of my favourite authors. I cannot wait to see what comes next.

Commander (Hellfire Series, Book 3) Ella Moore

Wow! Just Wow!

This is the third book in the paranormal romance series from Ella Moore. This book can be read as a standalone but in my opinion, it really is better to read it as part of the series. It is set on a version of Earth where humans and demons both live in their own tribes on the same plane of existence. At a time after Lucifer had fallen but was still fighting his way to dominion over all demons. This book contains detailed scenes of a sexual nature between two consenting demons.

The world building in these books is excellent. The writing is a joy to read. I can easily see all the places and peoples this author describes so beautifully. All the characters in this series are complex and carry their share of baggage. It seems that the ongoing themes are of damaged beings who are finding love and acceptance where they expect there to be none.

Lucifer’s Rule (Hellfire Series, Book 2) - Ella Moore

One of my favourite Lucifer stories. A story of love and personal growth in the most unexpected of places.

This is the second book in a new paranormal romance series from Ella Moore. This book can be read as a standalone. It is set several centuries after book one, on a version of Earth where humans and demons both live in their own tribes on the same plane of existence. At a time after Lucifer had fallen but was still fighting his way to dominion over all demons. This book contains very detailed scenes of a sexual nature between two consenting males; one demon and one fallen angel.

I loved this book. I couldn’t put it down. I have been looking forward to reading this since I finished book one and I wasn’t disappointed. It’s one of the best Lucifer books I’ve read in a long while. We saw glimpses of Lucifer in book one but we really get to know his character in this book. The world building is excellent. The character development is really well thought through and executed. I felt like I really got to know what made them tick and saw the progression and growth of each one.

Arran is the two hundred year old son of Erisi and Torag, who were the main characters in book one. He is desperate to get himself out from the shadow of his famous parents and make his own way in the world. He decides the best way to do this is join the ranks of Lucifer's army and work his way up from there. All does not go to plan though and he finds that the shadow of his parents has a long reach, with some unforeseen consequences.

Lucifer has spent millennia learning the lesson that he must guard his feelings, not let anyone in and not allow himself any weaknesses. He learned the hard way and it’s a rule he lives by. He wasn’t expecting his reaction to Arran and does his best to fight it, knowing that if it becomes public knowledge, it paints a target on both of their backs.

This is a story of two individuals who have to come to terms with their pasts and overcome their issues and presumptions. Its a story of love and hope where it is least expected. I really hope there will be more in this series. There are numerous characters I’d like to see more of.

Wildfire ( Hellfire, Book 1) - Ella Moore

A great start to this new series. A story of love and the fight for survival in Hell on Earth.

This is the first book in a new paranormal romance series from Ella Moore. The book is set on a version of Earth where humans and demons both live in their own family tribes on the same plane of existence.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It was nice to read something where both main characters were supernatural and humans didn’t really come into play very much. The characters were all really well developed and the author clearly gave a lot of thought to their very different personalities. The book is written from the POV of both main characters and switches between the two seamlessly, giving a much more holistic view of the story for the reader.I love the writing style. The story was well paced and there was nothing which jarred me out of this very detailed world the author had created. Excellent world building. Excellent character development. Excellent writing style. This author is now firmly on my reading list and I look forward to immersing myself in future books from them.

This book is set in a time before hell was separate from Earth. Before Lucifer had taken his place as ruler. Before humans dominated the planet. In this world, demons spend most of their time in human form and only bring forth their demon form in times of battle. There are many levels of demon; some far more deadly than others.

Erisi is a warrior demon who lives in her human form; very few have seen her demonic form and those who have, invariably don’t live to tell the tale. Erisi is blood bound to Lucifer and tasked with expanding his rule and influence over the demon population. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she is ordered to take control of the strategic stronghold of the Arav family, which she does by sending their leader to his true death.

Torag is an Arav demon, enslaved by it’s former leader. His role has been to keep the family safe behind the scenes, despite the terrible leadership. It’s a role he has maintained for a millenia. When the leader is dispatched with, the responsibility for keeping the family safe is formally placed on his shoulders when he finds himself named as second in command. He doesn’t trust easily but it would seem that Erisi might just be the type of leader his family needs.

This story is complex. A story of how manipulative and controlling Lucifer was in his rise to power. A story of two very damaged individuals growing and learning to live again, against the odds. A story of love in the most unexpected of places. I was completely enthralled and I cannot wait to see where else this story goes.
